Empowering Change: Abraham Kiruga Leads the Way in Quality and Sustainability with New Fellowship Award

Dr. Abraham Kiruga is a Finance Scholar, Research Mentor, Business Consultant, and YouTube Educator. Al Khaldi QASD Fellowship Programme is organised by Al Khaldi QASD Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Education of the CECM (County Government of Mombasa). The fellowship is designed to document and preserve the legacy of Hasmukh Patel, a prominent philanthropist and businessman based in Mombasa; create a comprehensive research paper that explores Patel’s life, contributions to community development, business practices, humanitarian work, and empowerment initiatives; provide valuable academic and historical material to benefit a wider community in Kenya and beyond; and promote sustainable development values through storytelling and academic research. The fellowship offers a three-month fellowship duration.

Dr. Abraham Kiruga is a highly accomplished finance professional, academic, and consultant with over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and corporate training. He is a dynamic thought leader, lecturer, and mentor in the fields of finance, research, personal development, and business consulting. Completing the fellowship enhances the fellow’s CV and portfolio, demonstrating the ability to produce independent, high-quality, community-relevant work—a strong asset in applying for future grants, roles, or publishing opportunities. By documenting Hasmukh Patel’s sustainable practices and impact, the fellow’s work contributes to local knowledge and development discourse, making it meaningful and scalable for further academic or policy research.
