QASD Foundation Secretary General Jassim Salem met with HE the Ambassador of Indonesian to Qatar Ridwan Hassan. The meeting was held at Indonesian Embassy in Doha and it discussed steps to promote cultural exchange, dialogue, education, intellectual engagement, good governance and sustainable development. Also, the discussion covered areas of cooperation and the ways to strengthen them.

HE the Ambassador, during the meeting, explained the cultural legacy of Indonesia, the country’s distinguished position in the region, its role in international and regional diplomacy, its race towards development and ties with the Arab-Muslim world while shedding light to the historical efforts to uphold unity in diversity, inclusiveness and democratic values.

The Secretary General thanked the Ambassador and stressed the need for collaboration and cooperation between Qatar and Indonesia in multiple sectors.

خلال اللقاء، استعرض سعادة السفير رضوان حسن الإرث الثقافي لإندونيسيا، ومكانتها المتميزة في المنطقة، ودورها في الدبلوماسية الدولية والإقليمية، و سباقها نحو التنمية، وعلاقاتها الوثيقة مع العالمين العربي والإسلامي، مسلطًا الضوء على الجهود التاريخية المبذولة لدعم الشمولية والقيم الديمقراطية.

وشكر الأمين العام جاسم سالم سعادة السفير، مؤكدًا على أهمية التعاون والتنسيق بين قطر واندونيسيا في مختلف القطاعات.
